A group of dedicated people who create a community of love and compassion for pregnant women in the Lowell area. Thirty-five to fifty women per week are provided with infant food, clothing, diapers bedding, and other necessities as well as emotional support and assistance in practical ways such as locating medical care, legal help, education, counseling, financial and social assistance. The Pregnancy Center takes new and used baby clothing and other items, as well as monetary donations. The center is entirely supported by private donations and depends upon the generosity of the community and churches to provide this ministry. Volunteers are needed to stock shelves and work directly with clients. Volunteers need to be pro-life, believe in natural family planning and be able to keep confidential information private.
